Remote control distance fails after 200m within antenna grid

Ok first time posting in the forums.
I thought i understood the antenna / remote control setup

I set up four anttenna relays at about 9800 - 10000 from the center of were i plan on setting up camp including a centeral anttenna.

The mining drone i made looses conntection about 200m away and all antennas overlap each other by about 40m or so.

1. i own all ships
2. turning on the antenna range view all antennas overlap
3. it applies to controling from station / Lg. ship / Suit

Am i wrong in my understanding that as long as you have a antenna array within range of the ship you could still control it?

The Ship DOES (or at least SHOULD) be remote controlled within the antenna range.
If your connection gets lost at 200m, my first guess would be that you are in your suit and not positioned in a Cockpit or ControlStation. The suit only has these 200m Range...

true but the result is the same for all controls suit / Lg Ship / Station

also i can veiw all remote antennas from the center after i added the one in the center yet it fails for operating a drone

Alright it would appear that i did not have my antennas pointed right as i made a new world and set it up as follows:

core antenna at 0,0,0

4 point antenna platforms at ~8500m away

and was able to control a drone for the entire distandy of 8500m

This was possible at the distance of 200m from a antenna relay from my suit.
Transit from core > Point A and back work fine; however

Transit from Point A > Point B = 12500m looses connection at aprox. 5400
although if im looking at the antenna grid correctly the drone should be within range of the array.
