Mod issues and errors
I've got some mods in use in game however they all keep having errors and I'm not sure why I pasting an error report from one of the mods but they all say the same thing and I could really use some help resolving the problem.

MOD_CRITICAL_ERROR: Automatic Ore Pickup, in file: Unknown
MOD PARTIALLY SKIPPED, LOADED ONLY 2/6 PHASES, Following Error occured:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Sandbox.Game

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Hi, that mean it's broken Mod or conflicting with the other Mods you use.

it is very important to test one Mod at a time in a "Testing world", to know how it works, to know if broken giving MOD_ERROR, and add one Mod at a time to know if conflicting with the other Mods you want to use.

= We must know what we are doing before adding the Mods to our Fav save because some can break the save files at a point you can lose your save.

______

Follow the steps we all do after a game update to find the mods that needs to be removed and reported.

How to test a world or find broken/conflicting Mods :

1 - Select your save.
2 - Click the "Save as" button on the left.
3 - Change the save name to create a *copy.
4 - Withdraw or add one Mod at a time in the copy.

5 - Report to the Mod author (on WS item page) when broken Mod found so he can fix/update his Mod, always very kind to let them know.

*copy
Never test with your original save, better create a copy and fix the original save when solution found in the copy, this way you will not mess up your save.

so all the mods that I usually use are shot till they get updated due to the latest update, Is that correct?

No, you have to do the important to be sure, so you have to create a new world, add one Mod, load to see/test if all good, save/exit to add a second Mod to know if conflicting with the first one.

= And so on for all the Mods you want to use.

Doing that very imprtant test will give you the answer you are looking for.

I will add :

You could create a new discussion in the "General Discussions forum" to paste in your broken save shared on the Workshop and ask the community to help you pinpoint the conflicting Mods.

Info +

Once you have found a Mod giving MOD_CRITICAL_ERROR in the log

=

Test that Mod alone in a new created No Mods world, to know if broken or just conflicting with another Mod in the original save.
