Got Logitech Extreme 3 Pro joystick working in Space Engineers via JoyToKey

Hey, gang! Tried out my new joystick with SE. When I try to select it in Controller Settings, the game recognizes it, but then the Controller Settings window glitches and I can't set it up. So I did it the hard way with JoyToKey (a controller mapping software.)

I mapped the mouse to the joystick directions for pitch and roll (had to invert the Y axis), mapped the trigger to left click, the thumb trigger to right click, and two thumb buttons to Q and E for yaw (in lieu of rudder pedals and the left/right twist on the joystick not being supported by JoyToKey.) This joystick has a "POV" or "hat switch"- a little four way controller button on top you can work with your thumb. I mapped this to A, D, spacebar and C to strafe vertically and horizontally. Still use W and S with my left hand for "go" and "slow".

This works really well. The joystick moves the mouse faster the farther you move it, and has feedback (spring, not shake/rumble etc.) It just "feels" better.

Going to try an alternative joystick profile/ship controls setup that fires alternating groups of thrusters (mapped to number keys) to eliminate the need for the gyroscope, which seems totally OP in the game.

I just found a logitech extreme 3d pro joystick in moving boxes from uhm.. a while ago 😅 so it's just about brand new despite it's age. Would you be so kind as to share the profile for the stick? I was bumping into similar problems but it seems so much nicer to play with.

Just saw your reply. When I get a chance I will screenshot the JoyToKey profile.

Really wish they'd fix this glitch.
