how to disable snapping?
I'm trying to copy and past a long line of blocks to the edge of a station in space but no matter what I try every time I rotate the line of blocks to head out into space it resets its orientation. I tried pressing "B" and I have auto rotation (T) toggled off but nothing works. It's absolutely frustrating to no end.

I find myself creating snap points. In your example, if I had a rectangular grid and wanted to paste a single row of blocks sticking straight out, I'd first put a single block on the grid at the attachment point. This give me a place to snap the longer line of blocks.

It is a cluncky system, and it did used to work better.
Usually that works as a work around, but I running into an issue where even with a staging point, the line simply won't rotate. Either it doesn't rotate at all or it only rotates halfway then snaps back.
Same problem... bleh
yea this is driving me crazy.. why cant one disable snap ? might be the grid limit was reached ? anywhere in the world I go it starts snapping..
