Why is the price so expensive for CDN and not USD?
It's like $10 more expensive then in USD... What gives?!

You just missed the sale at $10, maybe you will have to wait for the next one.

I'm not sure about the exact reason but you could ask Steam support Team in help on top of your Steam.

Hey man thanks a lot for responding! Really appreciate it, I'll totally contact steam cause the bogosity of this situation is absurd!

Steam is not going to help you, they will just tell you its due to the conversion rates.
Which is true, but there is also a markup for electronics in canada also, tariff's im assuming.

It sucks, but this is where patience is key, if you want it really bad youll pay the few extra dollars, if not just wait, i opt to wait for sales because there are not many devs i feel like supporting anymore.

It's a normal thing I see every days on Steam ''the price is not the same for all countries, so imo there is surely a good reason.

Yeah I mean there is like electronic taxes and all that, but this changed recently cause I remember buying it back when and had to refund it cause my computer couldn't run it to save it's life.

Yeah I suppose I'll have to wait until the next sale... Or try and beg for a coupon :P Thanks a bunch for the info and what not! Expect my money soon lol.

Try buying through another site? Humblebundle might have it.

It's the exchange rate. The US dollar is stronger than the canadian which is why you see the cost of the canadian price being higher.

Yeah I know the exchange rates and such, but if you exchange the USD cost it doesn't equal to the $50 CDN that I'd have to pay for it.

I read this post and did not believe the 50 cdn, but when I looked I laughed to see the price was spot on. I got this for 20 usd back in the day (regular price). It still said early access like it does now, but back then it did not appear to be abandoned like it does now. I would not buy it for more than 10 dollars though, abandoned or not. These guys want to develop AI, this unfinished game was nothing more then a cash cow for their failing AI project.

Korben, just to let you know = It's not abandoned, it's still in making but we are close to the end.

That does not mean it's abandoned when the game is completed, a lot of games are already completed on Steam and they are not abandoned... Well just if no more players.

edit

Since it's not a feedback on the game SE and the OP got his answer so I will move to Off Topic section.
