Rotors/Stators with a side of Gravity Generators
Rotors:

This is more of an idea for a revision that could turn into a general discussion but there are two things with rotors I would like to see changed: 1) the amount of stress a rotor can take and 2) the connectivity of both objects that are connected to it

1) I am currently working on a replica build (soon to be published) that utilizes rotors for a set of magnetic clamps under the hull of a ship made out of small ship blocks. Everything is almost set to go and the only thing I am doing now is test flying to make sure everything is okay. It seems I wont be out of this last phase until I either redesign something with the rotors or the devs of SE can edit something to let rotors handle more stress. The problem is that when I get up to a certain speed and yaw the ship a bit too hard the stator breaks off of the rotor and my magnetic clamp goes flying off into the distance leaving me a bit disheartened :/ Due to this I would personally want to see an increase int the stress limit of the rotor/stator or possibly make a second rotor/stator model that is a bit bigger and the connection between the two is stronger.

Of course there is also the possiblity that I am missing some kind of knowledge about current rotors and one of you could help me out with this dillemma!

2) When I say connectivity I am talking about being able to control things that are connected to a rotor through one cockpit. Currently in my replica build I can control the rotors from a secondary cockpit overviewing the area, however, if I want to control the landing gears that are serving as the magnets I had to build a secondary cockpit for each clamp chassis which resulted in a heavier ship and a a bit of toying with hull design to make everything fit (which of course isn't bad!).

What I would like to see is the ability to control anything attached to a rotor through a songle cockpit. Whether it be to just change the code for the object (granted I am not a developer so I do not know if that's how it works) or maybe put the antennas to use and attach them to the object the rotor is holding, setting up a link between it and the cockpit, and be able to control everything like that.

Gravity Generators

It would be nice to see them available for small ships. I built a LAAT (Republic Gunship) and it would be nice to add a gravity generator to actually hold players in the "cabin" while flying.

I heard that there used to be gravity generators for small ships in alpha but then they took them out or something... What do you guys know about this?
