Mod presets and color palettes
Self explanitory, say you want a world with the same mods as another one you currently have, in order to do some testing (Or constructing for projectors). In the current game version; You'd have to write down every single mod you have enabled, which, if you have more than 20 or 30 enabled, can be a huge pain in the rear, which is why I'm suggesting either mod presets, or modlist saving.

Another self-explanitory suggestion is color palettes. Say you have a palette for ship colors specifically, alongside with one for metal, or landscape matching-colors for camouflage. With the way the game works at the moment, again, you'd have to write down every single color, as well as work with the extremely imprecise color editor to try and get the colors to match your preset.

I suggest a dropdown menu for loading, and a save button that opens up a dialogue for you to name your presets and palettes.

I feel like this could make the game feel a lot more quick to do things in, as rather than doing seven different things at once just to get a color to match one from something you forgot to save and don't have spawned, you can load a preset instead.

If you agree with this, please give me a +1 in the comments.

Oh, and corner blocks for half slabs would be good too.

For the colour thing jus make a palatte yourself.

Do a wall of blocks and put all you colours on it.

Then looking at the right colour and hitting shift+P matches it

No need to write everything down :)

Mod lists is a good idea :)

That's good for if you're on creative, however if you're on survival, you're boned.

Make from small grid and project, its not a lot of steel plates for each light armour block and they weld really quick :)
