Coveyors and small rocket launchers....
I really think small grid rocket launchers should be able to use small conveyors with one important limitation.

They can only use the strait sections. Not bends or junctions.

The rockets would obviously fit down a strait pipe as its as wide as the launcher and that can hold 4.

We would have to have our cargo orientated right so its just a strait line from container to launcher.

This makes a lot of player made turrets a lot more feasable.

Short version....

Add conveyor port to rear of small grid launcher

Allow rockets to pass through small strait conveyor tubes but not juction or bend :)

What you guys think?

*straight

Convayors don't take orienation into account when conveying items.

If you want to use conveyers on the rocket launcher, use the reloadable one.

Its too big for a lot of applications. Like i made a turret with them and it does work....

But look at the size of the thing lol. Im making a tank right now and no way that is gonna work with this design.....

Look at the model of the launcher, it has 4 openings. That means rockets could easily fit through small conveyors just couldnt go around a bend. So why not just tag the straight sections to allow them to pass, orientation wouldnt matter. Would give small scale turrets better ammo capacity, because it seems harsh it limited to 8 rockets (shells) :(

Orrrrrr.....give them an ammo module block that can go on the back that at least doubles there capacity :D

hell, Id kill for the rockets to be ret-conned....regular rocket launcher w/ a small cargo port on the back essentially, then retrofit the reloadable model into a larger lock on variant.

ya then have smaller more useable rockets and a larger but smarter one
^weapon variance has suffer'd in se^

It's absolutely beautiful how someone can correct another person's spelling and then go on to make multiple mistakes in their own comment.

PS. I completely agree with OP.

I've thought about this before and it could be useful because on a small fighter where there's not much room in the front for a re loadable rocket launcher and its conveyors but there's some problems with it: it might impossible to program the conveyors to detect weather their's a strait line, some people might try to use curves and get confused about why it doesn't work, and we have re loadable rocket launcher and rocket turret already and it works fine.
