Dedicated server not updating via Steam Console Client
Currently I am having an issue updating my dedicated server on a rented host. My client version is 01.060.023 64-bit, and the server is running 01.060.022. When I update via the Steam Console Client (which is semi-automated through a button on the host's web admin page) I get the message that "App '298740' already up to date."

I'm not quite sure why it updated on my client, but refuses to update on the dedicated server, even after several attempts.

The last 'public' branch update of Space Engineers Dedicated Server (AppID 298740) was 3 days ago: https://steamdb.info/app/298740/history/

You'd need to switch to 'development' branch of the dedicated server to get for it today's game/client (AppID 244850) 'public' branch update, which increased the version number.

Ugh. I see no way for me to change the AppID. Guess I'm gonna have to talk to the tech support for my host. Something tells me they may not be cooperative in allowing a "development" version on their public server.

This is the first time I've noticed this issue. I know the hotfix today was last minute, but I hope they don't wait too long to switch the public build over to the new version.

You most likely can't change that. The dedicated server is free and everybody using Steam can install it, and that's probably the case on the host you are using, unless you are logged on your own Steam account there.

KSH probably forgot to push the update to the 'public' branch of the server. Unfortunately the 'development' branch is password protected, so you can't switch to it, either.
