Does the projection of the thrusters disappear?
The projection does not disappear and if you get near it with the welder it shows the needed components but doesnt let you interact with it. Turning the projector off and on does not help.
Question # 1... Is the first block(the merge block) being connected to another merge block?
Question # 2... The merge blocks( both of them, the existing one and the one in the
projection) are they both turned on?
Now that the obvious stuff is out of the way, heres what i saw in my testing. I was building a reloadable mass driver. I had the projectors set to power down with a timer block. So i push a button and the timers did this : 1. turn the projector and welders on. 2. wait 5 sec to finish "printing" the projectile and turn the projector and welders off. 3. Initiate launch procedure( you can figure this out on your own, took forever to get it right)... and whoosh the projectile goes at the target at 315m/s, hits it and leaves a big hole. i say "woh, nice", and hit the button again expecting more aplause and get nothing. The welders shoot a few sparks off of the merge block and the projection of the merge block on the projectile dissapears and does not print the projectile. Tried it again and again and no dice. it seems that when you turn the projector off it doesnt work again. What i did was rotate the PROJECTION away from the "printer" and use the timer blocks to rotate it in and then out when the "printing" is done. Now i can hit the button every 8 seconds or so and get the same result every time... BIG holes in anything i shoot at. The same will probibly work for your project. Yes, you will have ghost imeges of your "printables" floating about but it will work again and again. Hope my rambling helped
