Astronaut Jetpack and Ragdoll Physics
When rotating the character around the legs and feet derp around, making your character look like they are doing some kind of satanic jig. It looks like the character model is trying to reset itself to its default legs-down position while also being told by the ragdoll physics to trail its legs. I think the fix for this would be fairly simple, just have the event for resetting the leg position be only used when the jetpack is no longer rotating the character, so the legs will float around and ragdoll then when you stop rotating your character they will reset themselves to the standard floating position.

While you're making GIFs, would you mind adding another one for pitch and roll? It has this effect on all axes, not just rotating about the y-axis.

Not just the legs, the arms too if you are not holding anything.

i have the ragdoll problem where nothing moves and cant use tools or blocks

Im having it so much worse!
my legs mainly are the ones that have the spasm issue but the moment it hits my arms, i don't notice its hit my arms...Cause the moment i turn on my jet pack i get ripped away from where ever i'm standing on a ship or asteroid and hurdle out into open space like I'm latched to some invisible high speed-ship flying in no particularly specific constant linear direction and rather i get flinged back and fourth like im being bounced and pulled by gravity generator at 20+ g's.
Every time this happens i move at about 150-380 mps, i have to restart my game every time, this glitch will kill you in survival mode, and when the desktop crash log pops up for me it take around 30-200 secs to appear and last for just a split second. im not sure if this is happening to anyone else or if its a clash between my mod list and the game or my software (Windows 7 home premium) on an MSI Gaming computer with an I-5 4670k CPU.
I have quite an extensive mod list in my single player world I've been grooming into a potential dedicated server. Yet I've never once had any issue like this until the DEVs implemented the player model change I'll try to pin down which mods cause this issue on my Mod-list-world in the coming weeks, hopefully the DEVs will have fixed whatever bug has been made recently

Sounds like you may have an entirely different issue there, daikarrai, there was another thread somewhere on here that I saw about just the issue you are talking about, maybe you should try posting on there as well and try to pinpoint what triggers the issue (compare mod lists, hardware, etc), as that would help the devs immensely in fixing your issue, I am sure.

My Problem stopped recently yet I've no evident idea why, never changed my load order, didn't get rid of anything in the world i was in. i think it was something keen soft did and now its either been resolved or suppressed by a partial fix, as I've no experienced it again and i've been playing for several days in long multi hour sessions and before it happened every 25-40 minutes.
now all i've been experiencing is legs or arms getting strungout 40,000 k across world to the exact coords i spawned in, at the same 25-40 minute interval

after some time I'll remove my comment and redo the super condenced

Note

Keep in mind we lock +3 months old discussions because the game is not the same after a update where old disscussions may contain false information, discussions that don't have any activity so no new posts since 3 months. also to avoid community reports about "Necroing old" and it is in the forum rules added to pinned green messages.

Never be shy to create a new forum discussion, one problem at a time so all can help on one idea/problem per discussions that matches the game version.
