As for now there are no plans for a demo version before the realese.

If you feel that you want to see more of the game before buying it, I would suggest you to search the minor plethora of videos on youtube and read on the official forums.

For me, it's not a matter of content, it's a matter of performance. I've watched more than enough videos of the game and it's obvious it's something I'd like, I just have no idea if it'll actually run on my system.

I think if you could post your rig here someone will help you and maybe give you a idea if you can run it or not

Also, keep in mind it's not really a "rig" so much as "dinky laptop that runs low-end stuff"

So yeah, I know it's far from a beefy system, but I don't really play a lot of high-end stuff anyway, so it does what I need it to do.

You should be ok with that rig but dont expect it to be completely lag free as you are just under recommended. But the ATI rings alarm bells as that is minimum spec.

Minumum specs = game starts but may not run well.
Recommended = game starts and game runs reasonably well.

And i ran across this interesting website, while i was searching this in my search bar " Can i run Space Engineers" and i found this website called " Can you run it" i just searched Space Engineers in the search bar and clicked on the Can you run it button, under the search bar.

very old website, sadly the website only checks on the specs that the devs put on pages, it doesnt tell you if u can litteraly run it, would just tell you if u have the hardware that is posted on the page of the game, sometimes this can lead to misunderstanding cause it has happen to me a couple of times that it says i have the specs and it does not work and the oppesite.

This is a good indication that there are major problems in this game, and that THIS GAME does intend to RIP us off...…. in the form of NO REFUND.
