Toolbar is gone

As per title. It's just gone, when I pres G the toolbar appears to put the blocks in, when I'm in build mode the bar doesn't show up. I can cycle through the blocks and can place them but appart from that I have nothing on my screen, no gravity indicator, no toolbar no, speed, etc etc.

your hud must be switched off try pressing the tab key that should bring it back

Like Flint said the TAB key hides/shows the HUD.
