is there a way that I can view my position on the map because I have been flying forward for like half an hour and haven't passed anything and I am lost so is there a way I can get back to the spawn?

Hopefully, antennas will have something to do with navigation. At the moment, however, there are no such features. If you can't find your way back to your base, your best bet is to start over.

i have a similar problem, i lost 2 capital ships and a space station, now i dont have any clue where they are or how to find em :( .

you cant becose they didnt impliment X Y Z coordinance that could be displayed

They should implement some kind of beacon you can install on your ships and/or space stations, so you can find your way back.

Displaying the current coordinates would be a easy fix for that. Maybe they can implement it in the next update?

This program allows you to view the X, Y and Z coordinates of any object on the map
It also has many other feature like changing the X,Y and Z coordinates of any object.

So what you can do is just change your players position to were you base is (don't put your playing into a ship block.. or ships into each other... bad things happen)

If this world is a mulitplayer server and you don't have the ability to edit the map... well good luck.

I know i am a bit late to the convo but it popped up as a google result for something and felt like i owed it to this programs and needed to share its awesomeness.
