How much power does a Jump Drive need?
Building a corvette and wanna know how much power a Jump Drive needs. Would four small reactors work, with batteries? Or do I need something larger?

It should, it does on my one cargo ship, and it is heavy. I have a larger one that used 8 small reactors, but it has two jump systems. But even tho I use one, it tends to drain on the power tho. The battle ship I did has two large war reactors, nm, that doesn't matter, it's huge anyway, I guess that doesn't count. I have a Corvette that a seized from the pirates and put one large war reactor and it uses 1 jump drive. How ever it also has a Port and Starboard Batt with a min tho. However, it's Not too big, small than the battle ship.

The jump drive is perfectly fine with just a single battery or a single reactor - it will just take more time to recharge after the jump, that is all.

For myself, I have found that 6 to 8 batteries recharges the jump drive pretty fast.
