The ship's weight wont show either.

If "convert to ship" is greyed out, that means station voxel support is enabled.
Your ship is still attached to the projecting station somewhere. Find the attachment point, cut it free, and you'll be able to fly away.
If a block is still touching the projector, that's an attachment point too, btw.
Go sit in the main cockpit of your ship. Open the control panel, select that cockpit, and tick the "main cockpit" checkbox. Make sure every block on the ship is owned by you.
Now go to the info tab while still sitting in the cockpit and see if "convert to ship" is available.
