On dedicated servers, what is "hack speed multiplier?"

Before starting this new discussion, I searched the Steam forums, and was surprised to find nothing at all to shed light on what the "hack speed multiplier" setting is on dedicated servers. I want to know more about this setting, so as to govern it appropriately on our server.

i'm reletively new to this game, but i beleive "hacking" is when you are using the grinder on the foe's turrets, and possibly control panels/stations. i might be wrong about the control panels/stations.

I recall seing a post backing up Craftagents post. I have not tested that, but it seem plausible.

The Hack Speed Multiplier is the speed at which the grinder works on objects not owned by the player/faction - If my Grinder speed is set to 10, and my Hack multiplier is set to .3, then my grinder functions only at speed 3 on objects that I do not natively have access to.
