all the drawings are gone
A few days ago I was calmly finishing the carb in creative mode (there were quite a lot of them), saving everything and turning off the game, but today when I went into the game all the drawings disappeared, absolutely everything. I tried to find it in the save backups, but this is absolutely not a solution; only the last one was left.

Hi, looks like you use the in-game Steam Cloud option that give problems to members using without knowing what it is made for.

FIX = REenable the in-game Steam Cloud in game options from main menu to see all your "Cloud Blueprints".

IMPORTANT

The in-game Steam Cloud feature we have in Game Options from main menu is not made to save at all, it's made to create "Cloud Blueprint" to auto transfer to your second PC and it is very limited where player must empty the "Cloud" folder on their C: Drive to be able to create more "Cloud Blueprints" for their second PC.

You enabled the in-game Steam cloud and want to fix?

To do before disabling the in-game Steam cloud :

1 - You will have to paste all your "Cloud Blueprints" in a creative world.

2 - Go disable the in-game Steam cloud in game options.

3 - Load the creative world where you pasted all your "Cloud Blueprints" and redo LOCAL Blueprints this time.

This doesn’t work, I only have thumbnails left in the drawing files, how can I disable cloud saving and re-upload the drawing when it disappeared from the local game files.

It's a new problem that came with the last game update and members using the Cloud option had to enable the Steam Cloud in game options from the main game menu to see all their "Cloud Blueprints".

So you never enabled the in-game Steam Cloud ?

To specify :

That new problem = The last game update turned OFF that Steam Cloud in game options from the main game menu.

The FIX
=
REenable the Steam Cloud in game options from the main game menu.

I probably just didn’t explain it correctly, the cloud saving function is always turned on for me, but today when I went into the game I couldn’t find a single drawing using the F10 button, then I went to the game files in the folder with drawings and it was also empty, there were only small photos of objects that I saved . It’s difficult for me to understand how, having disabled the cloud saving function, I should add a drawing (reupload) in creative mode when they are not there?

That is what happens when we enable the Steam Cloud in game options from the main game menu.

That cloud option is not made to save at all :

More details :

1 - You will have to enable the Steam Cloud in game options from the main game menu.

2 - Create or load a creative mode world.

3 - Hit F10 to open the Blueprints menu.

4 - Paste all your Cloud Blueprints in the world + Save and exit the world.

5 - Go disable the in-game Steam cloud in game options.

6 - Load the creative world where you pasted all your "Cloud Blueprints" and redo LOCAL Blueprints this time.

We Must create Local Blueprints because only the Local ones are saved on your C: Drive

Local Blueprints goes here :
C:\Users\ (your username) \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\local

The English word for the items the F10 menu lists is Blueprints.
Blueprints are not stored in
SpaceEngineers\Content\Data\Blueprints or anywhere else in any of Steam's file directories for the game.

They are stored in
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\
Open File Explorer (WinKey+E) and type or copy/paste %appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints and press Enter to quickly navigate there.

All of your personal blueprints are stored in the Local folder.
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\Local

All of the blueprints uploaded and saved to the Cloud are in the Cloud folder.
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\Cloud

We don't need to use the Cloud service unless we use multiple computers to play the game or we're going to be doing something to our computer that causes ALL data to get erased such as re-install Windows.

Cool, glad to know you see all your Blueprints/Drawings now.

I strongly recommend to paste all your creations in a new world that you will publish on your Workshop, this way you can load to recover when something goes wrong.
-> Your Workshop is the best backup system.

EDIT

How to publish a World save :
1 - Select your save.

2 - Click the "Publish" button on the left.

3 - Choose a proper Tag, select Steam Upload and click the OK button.

4 - Your world will be uploaded to Steam Workshop.

Does this also mess with loading saved games? All my single-player saves have disappeared after this update! (note - I've always had "cloud sharing" turned off in SE)

Online World saves show only while connected to Steam, a new folder is created when creating a new world without connection to Steam and we can transfer our Online saves into that new folder, all info added to this pinned important :

Cloud Services do not save a backup of our game progress or game saves for this game. The only thing Cloud Service records for Space Engineers are blueprints. Our saved game files are saved to 2 different folders on our computer. To access these folders:

Press WinKey+E to open File Explorer and copy/paste the following line into the address bar then press the Enter key on your keyboard:

%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Saves

You will see 2 folders in there, Captain Canard:
1234567891011 - These are your saved games in Offline Mode with Steam
76561198025737882 - These are your Online and Logged in to Steam Saved games.

NOTE: The line above this is Captain Canard's personal save directory. Our online saves folder is named our Steam_ID. Each persons online saves folder will be a different number. It's simply the other folder that's not named 1 through 11 (1234567891011) for everyone else.

If you want to find your Steam_ID:
1. Go to your profile and look at the address in the address bar.
- If you have not made a custom URL the number at the end of the address is your Steam_ID.
- If you have made a custom URL remove it temporarily and go back to your main profile page to get it from the address or go to the following link and paste your profile's custom URL into the search field:
https://steamid.io/
