Looking for more engineers!!

Hello Space Engineers Community! i have a newly started server (about a week ago) which has gotten 5 new people and would like to see some more new faces, the server name is Alak's Low Ping Server, map name New World Order (i've noticed that some people have issues with the search command) so if you have probs finding the server just alphabitize the servers and goto A's if looking thru server name or N if server map name.

Also currently we have a group started http://steamcommunity.com/groups/AlaksSES so if your interested in staying with the server, please go join the group, it is open for all!

Also this is a survival mode server.

Currently PvP is not allowed, would like to make this into a PvE server in the future, so for right now its just building.

Also you can PvP IF the person you are attacking wants to have a PvP fight with you.(pretty much dueling) if not then you will be kicked for not following rules, and second rule to be broken will result in a ban with all of your items deleted from the server. (honestly servers not big enough to have any fun pvp fights atm. will get bigger as server population grows)

Also the server has been hit by some greifers and have been delt with by changing the respawn ship to something that cannot be used for that intention. Please check the Group page for list of mods currently active within the server.

Lol, thats no problem, there is alot of PvP servers out there that would gladly take you :P Currently right now this game IMO isn't suited for much of anything but crashing stuff into each other, its very lacking in weapons for pvp and doesn't have NPC style ships, so personally this is like a building game for me. like minecraft without the monsters, (can't really count cargo passerbys cause they don't charge players) i hope in the future they add NPC's that you could put into factions and attack any player, (or possibly declare war on player made factions) but this game is still in alpha n requires alot of work, but it is still a good game.

I disagree, unless you mean for massive battles, those are kinda too laggy. Small ship fights are epic.

Definition of borrow is to ask the owner, and not only did you "borrow" my drill you also took someone elses refinery, what your discribing is "greifing" take peoples stuff and using it, and or moving it. And you were warned if you read the group rules before joining the server, if you did not read the group rules then that is your own fault.

Refinery ship said the owner was (Dead)... I didn't break or mess with anything other then your drill ship and even then, all I did was drive it about 4 kilometres toward another asteroid.

Some dude named Osiris<--- or something like that was already in there messing around with crap.

You got your ship back unharmed, ungrinded and nothing stolen right? Tell me again how that's worth a ban

I checked the server logs, the only players on were Mrraybaker, Cartman8807, me and You. And i had been on the server since the morning. (about 3am CT ish) but went afk around 5. Also, you said my ship wasn't "grinded" but yet you "grinded" my control seat to take it, and you obviously grinded or destroyed my conveyor system going to my turrets to get to my miner ship when you could of easily made your own.

You broke the server rules. Normally i would give warning but because i have a strict rule against Greifing i will not unban you. Sorry for your lost time on your station but what you did was unacceptable.

Also another thing i would like to note: When i asked where my stuff was you instantly logged off the server. Automaticly making you guilty. Another sign of a Greifer. So everyone else out there please note this thread and ban him from your servers as well, Obviously does not have respect for rules of conduct of someones server.

Yeah.. everybody ban me from your servers for coming in here and openly admitting to grinding a cockpit and taking a ship across the map.

Add it up dude.. no med bay + 12.4% suit energy + unprotected cockpit = saved life.

Instead of being lite hearted about me borrowing your ship to not die.. you go off on a tangent about how I may or may not have grinded a conveyor system. Maybe your guns destroyed the conveyor???

Anyone with a public server reading this and agrees with Alak is more than welcome to ban me. I would more happily see a "You are Banned" rather than run into another turd like Alakeram while playing MP.

List of things destroyed:

1 Drill ship (fecked up totally the front end)
1 Welder grinder (how did you manage that if you just borrowed a drill ship eh?"
Large amount of a hanger, conveyors to missiles etc

a big cunck of inside the station just attacked with random grinder.

You were the only player in the viciinty - and you have admitted to stealing.

And his guns couldn't possible have destroyed the conveyor as they didn't have a shot - i saw the damage it was not "self inflicted"

Though if you stole his ship from under his base the turrets may well have fired towards the ship trying to take you out.

As for your station, What station? I had scouted the entire map that moring and there was nothing you had built that would have taken more than 30 mins of time.


And your excuse is you were at 12% health? Wow I'm so sorry... i mean it's tough in this game because when you die you lose everything you have ever built right? Right? I mean thats it, curtains? Game over, done, finished. End of the world as we know it.

hi, i had some questions 1. do you guys use voice or the in game chat? 2. i'm looking for a group thats made up of older players and 3. are you using any mods?

Alak has a voice thing set up i believe, though I don't think anyone is using it right now.

Me, Alak and one of the other guys are both older than kids if that's what you mean :P There is a 4th regular whose age I don't know.

Mods - a few, a skybox one, some skins, also the Piston pack, the "Gate" mod (awesome is this) , control stations (another awesome one) nothing that affects performance, changes "weapons" or anything like that.
