1 press F10 to open the blueprint menu

3 you can either double left click or click "copy to clipboard"
3a Exit blueprint menu
4 Wile in game, press Ctrl-V and your blueprint should appear
The start ships are afaik not provided as Blueprint, but as part of the start world.
Pressed f10, double clicked what I wanted to spawn, and did Ctrl-V
All it does is go into third person and not paste anything. A little help?
Before loading your world go into the advanced settings, make sure the box for copy/paste is ticked, click ok and then load your world, pasting blueprints should work okie day
