Walking gets slower and slower the longer you play.
I have been playing for a couple of hours and I am noticing a gradual speed decrease in walking over time. I played before the update and this wasn't an issue, anyone else having the same problem?

My friend can barely move in my server, his jetpack takes forever to accelerate and he walks at 0.1ms when his hud says 6.0ms.

I think Keen will be rolling out a fix in the next update, this bug has cropped up before in previous versions, Its a RAM issue I think.

Im also having this issue. It was fine playing the game for a while, then I spent some time trying to do some stuff with the programmable blocks, when i went back to building the ship the characters movement and all of the physics felt like it was going at about half speed. Closing the game and reloading didn't solve the issue.

Yup, looks like a bug, only just started playing again as I had a horrible ore bug before. Slightly annoying/

I've been having this issue heavily on my server as well since last update. The culprit seems to be cargo ships not despawning properly in the world after their timer expires. If you load up your world with SEToolbox it will likely be littered with these buggy entities. Just remove everything that isn't yours and the slowdown should be gone. I make it a habit to run this utility before each restart or as needed.

havent had this issue myself, but i spent most of yesterday in my mining rig digging out my hanger bay... or at least a good portion of it... i also dont have cargo ships active this world....

I'm having this issue as well. I first noticed it when my friend joined my game. Haven't noticed it getting worse but it's very frustrating.

I have been playing singleplayer and experiencing it, it is even worse than it was before now, I hope we don't have to wait until thursday for a fix because I am starting to want my money back.

Please learn to search, there about 20 threads on this subjest already. Use the SEToolbox, remove all the junk and cargo ships from the save file, bam fixed. They will probably fix this in a hot fix pretty quick (I Hope).

Thanks, good to check the forum when problems occur. It took me too long to figure out that the sky was filled with cargo ships and I was covering 20 meters per second at 100 meters/sec. speed. I don't know about SEToolbox, have to look further or wait for hot fix. I need a break anyway....

Just look up SEToolbox on Google, it will take you to where you can download it, install it, run it and delete all the floating junk and ships if you want. I have had to two this to my save twice in the last 24 hours.

I downloaded the Set Toolbox, it's a pretty intimidating front end. How can you tell a roaming ship that randomly spawns from the derelicts?

Is it ok to delete all the floating ore?
LookAtMyHorse Jan 18, 2015 @ 4:57am
people was talking about cargo ships not despawning on ds but i can surely say that it is an issue for single as well
though i noticed that they actually despawn but not fast enough and in ~8 hours amount of cargo ships goes around 40

@Bobmin in SE Toolbox you can tell them by having a description
"Antenna|Antena 2|Antena 3|Antena 4<Cargo ship name>" number of "Antenna" depends on number of antennas on the ship with mining transport having none, mining carriage having one and so on

Thanks that makes it much easier. I thought it might be them but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to delete the derelicts. I enjoy pulling those back to my base and picking them apart for ideas.

The game is alpha, stuff happens but it will get fixed.

I wonder if it can be manually fixed, similarly to the ore fix...?
