Click 'Support IRC'
Ask someone for help (They have support people in there, it's faster than making a ticket).
Give them a moment to respond.
Tell them you want to update your server to the latest version of the game. I was back up and running in 30 mins.
Also, make sure you are backing up your server files.
I set up a script on my computer which runs every 20 mins, automatically goes via FTP, downloads all the files (except the mods.. faster), and zips them onto my system. This way if something goes way wrong, I can go back.
On VG servers when saving to times your setup pannel, it will erase data in sandbox.sdl so take care to click once and launch server
Yeah, I don't know if it's just his server (I didn't test on mine yet), but if you save your config twice in a row (without refresh), the second time erased the sandbox.sbc file to 0 bytes.
So this means you should ALWAYS make backups of your server at least once or twice a day (or more!).
