I have just seen Space Engineers and as it's on offer was thinking of buying it. There seems to be two offerings. Space Engineers and Space Engineers 4-Pack. What is the purpose of the 4-Pack, is there any extra content.

Its for saving money while buying it for a group of people.

if you buy it you get the game and 4 copies to gift to your steam friends (for the price of 3 usually)

I alrdy own the game and when i go to buy the 4 pack for my friends it won't give me the option to click buy as a gift. Anyone else having this same issue?

It's the way Steam work. The 4-pack add the game to your library and the others three in your inventory. If you already own the game, any game, and want to buy the 4-pack of that game, Steam won't let you do it. However, you can give the money to one of your friend so he can buy it and give you the extra copy.

Me too, cant buy a 4-pack for the gifts.

because you own the game, the 1st copy would go to you and 3 copys into ur inv, back a few years ago it USED to put all 4 copies into ur inv but people would then sell them so now it forces you to have a copy and 3 into ur iv so you can't buy a 4 pack
