Universal Computing ( Turing ) Machine

Since the sensor update, it started me wondering whether enough items exist in SE to achieve a viable Turing machine or basic computer.

Since this has been done in games such as minecraft using redstone, and dwarfputers in dwarf fortress. it stands to reason that space engineers can too. Anyone else had the same idea? would love to hear what anyone has to say on this.

Thats quite interesting actually, just looked up what a turing machine is, and yea a computer works like a turing machine, so using sensors it could be viable for this, but very hard to do in my opinion.

i believe its posible to make logic gates using sensors and moving parts.
