Probably happens only in the world save you play and that is very easy to know becasue we just have to create a brand new NO Mods NO Plugin world and paste your "bugged" creation in to see if the same.
IF the same in the testing Vanilla world

Remove it and mag plates are visible put it back in and they disappear.
Oh well, guess I need a replacement for deflector shields.
Great.. but do leave a comment on the mod page on Steam and/or make an effort to contact the creator so they have the opportunity to fix it:)
Would love to but the mod has comments turned off, so I cant go and state the issue to make others aware...
OK, please post the mod Steam identity number or link to the page, and perhaps I'll look into it for the benefit of others... fundamentally it's a very common problem, caused by two of the biggest problems on the planet... people and technology. ^.^
