Buyable Ships
Fast question, someone knows any mod to increase the number of ships that we can find in Neutral factions?

I love the idea of trade, made contracts, and buy ships,but they just suck. I would love to find a mod that increase ships, maybe some hovers, or include player ships to be buyable from then. Maybe teach then one of your blueprints, and purchase it done by then.

Hi, I found one that was able to change/add ships to Trade station so the best to have a chat with :

thanks sir, i did a fine search, and found that one as well. It is really hard to find mods like that, and some of that are crashing the game.

But thank you for your time. Sadly, trading is not very explored in this game

Not much petitons were created about that and the most wanted so far is to be able to sell our ships for credits at the Trade stations :

You may create a new Portal Feedback (Petition) about changing the ships at the Trade stations and share the link here on Steam asking to communtiy to vote on your idea :selike:

I, for one, would be super interested in this idea. Being a single player, anything new to do has got my vote. Sadly single player is not all that exciting. All there is to do is build build and more build, and roleplay.

I've already added my vote on the existing Feedback (sell ships) and be able to change the Trading station sell ships would be very cool for scenario authors so it's a Yes from me!

There is a good reason so few Economy related mods exist, the ModAPI for that part of the game is a complete disaster. You cannot even have two different Economy mods installed at the same time! It's such a headache, I'm not sure I'd do it again if someone offered money.

The above mentioned "Economy Experiments" mod was what I created to test what is possible to mod. After doing that I found the answer, not much. Entire ModAPI part of Economy needs a rewrite along with part of the Economy system itself.

I will add my desire for this as well. I an see lot of potential.. Become higher in faction rep.. And get different ships from civilian factions. Or military from military ones. Mining ships from a mining faction.

Could be attached to the contract terminal to raise your faction. Lot of potential if API fixed.

I also seel that one. Looks interesting to be able to do it, but also preety much exploitable. That is why i didn't included tha mod in my list. You can just mass produce a simple small grid ship and sell it since there is no market balance. Also, it removes the main pourpose of doing quests. Lets hope peoples like the idea, because if we can include workshop blueprints as buyable ships, it would make each neutral more unique,

Got it, sadly, i didn't won on lottery yet hahahha, am testing your mod for the first time, my friend are really excited for it, he even suggested a game where i we could not build ships, only purchase it, and since it looks interesting, moved me to search for mods.

About the Mod API, i really useless at programming, even gave up of simple text changes, but i know that some engines like UNREAL are hard to change to make mods. Luckly Dan2D3D has contact with the team, so if they find it interesting, maybe we could expect a future DLC focused on economy, bringing ways to sell ships without breaking the game (Like a timer for the station to make money before purchase another), more ships, and even neutral ships that actually do the contracts, allowing the player to actually hire neutral ships for jobs. But off course i am thinking to far, that is trully hard to make. Luckly a few mods like yours already exist to help then to have a base of how to do it.

Yeah, trading is just amazing in single or multiplayer games. I dislike the idea of just get any blueprint in workshop and use it. Maybe blueprints could be selled aswell, in MP games, blueprints worth more then a ship done. trading is the core of MP games with scarse resources and it is just to hard and not worthy right now. Getting friendly with neutrals take to much time and efforth and you get almost no reward from doing it. Some mods add new factions to the game, most of then does not even have stations, and it is far better to ally then, because instead of get monetary help, you get ally patrols around your bases. And once more, the problem of ally neutral factions, is because they are in just one place, and they dont actually sell what you need. It is far easyer to seek resources then get enough money to purchase then, and the ships are not usefull at all.
