is this rust in space?
I love how on rust you can build shelter and be attacked at anytime. defending aswell as attacking other peoples creations.

does this game follow that route?

By looking at title i was expecting something like "you can't have rust without oxygen".
Well, i did not play Rust, but i guess it's more like minecraft in space. Only with voxel "terrain".

you cant "dig" in rust

but you can dig anus in real life, right?

No, the game is single player by default unless you set up the game to allow others to connect (can be limited to steam friends or invite only iirc).

so there is no servers you an join with more than 10 people in playing around? and thanks for getting straight to the point alot of steam players just talk utter rubbish.

Up to 16. And definitely has survival elements to it, including permadeth in a sense (think EVE Online's "death model". Suppose it's worth noting that playing single player or hosting the game yourself allows you to simply load a previous save, thus avoiding the risk of losses altogether.

There are no servers yet, the dedicated server client has not been released, so every game server is running on the same server as one of the players. There are a few acceptions were people have bought a second copy and running it on a spare machine, but the game is currently set upto limit the number of players assuming that they are running in on one of the players machines.

Once dedicated server clients come out and the game gets some performance enhancements larger groups of player will be possible.
