Hell if you want you could just use conveyor blocks for the whole damn thing if you really wanted too.

You need the convery belt (not tubes) for turning the one on the right side for the ship (left in pic).
Conveyor tubes are completely optional for now and, at present, it makes more sense to use conveyor blocks for the entire route in anycase.
There's no bug here, it works just fine. The assembler purposefully no longer fills with materials as it did before the patch, it now just automatically takes whatever materials it needs from the system on demand whenever you give it a blueprint order to process.
You do *not* need to manually transfer anything into the assembler.
Huh? Of course Tubes and Conveyors are accessible, that's what this last patch was all about...??
Connectors are output blocks, the Collector is the input block.
