How to Delete whole ships...

So I am having trouble with the delete option within the game. I place a cube on the ship that I want to delete, I press ctrl + X and all that happens is my jet pack turns on and off... what am I doing wrong?

Unless you have the SE Toolbox, you have to manually delete each block. In creative, I'm pretty sure right clicking removes them. In survival, you have to grind it out.

make sure copy and paste is checked at game options.

make sure you are in creative mode and then try

ctrl - x only works if you have copy&paste activated in the game options, otherwise you will only turn the jetpack on and off.

copy paste does not work in survival.

Thanks guys, yeah I figured out that teh copy paste function was not turned on. All works now. Thanks for the replies.

Just enable "Creative" in the Space Master tool Alt+F10

OR

Select your save, click "Settings" on the left and go to world advanced settings to enable Copy/paste.
