Quick question about Sandbox mode.
Is this game have a sandbox mode? And if it has one, can I basicly just having fun building whatever I wanted without "farming/gathering"?

It is called "Creation" mode in this game, but yes. you can build without welding (blocks immediately appear) and not need any resources to do it. You can also ignore ammo and fuel usage (you need power, but the power sources wont need fuel).
