Equiping Items from Inventory
Ok guys sorry if i'm being a noob here, which I probs am.

Anyway I created my first motor, and added it to my inventory (K), but how do I equip this motor to use or place? like how do you move it into your tool bar? I just cant work out how to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can do this 2 ways. Left click on the object you want to move down to your hotbar and make sure you drag it into that box before you take your finger off of the left mouse button. The other way is to simply right click on a object and it should be automatically sent to the first available hotbar slot thats open. Hope this has halped, happy building o/ .

ok well i've tried that and it hasnt worked. I drag the motor from the assembler into my inventory, I then access my inventory (K) and can see it in there, but no matter how many times i right or left click it just stays in there. I can drop it and pick it back up, but it goes back to the same location, I cant seem to find it under the (G) section of items either with all the building blocks. What am i doing wrong!?

Oh! If you just crafted the motor, it won't work yet. (I dont think) The dev's haven't finished up the crafting system completely.

Ok well that would make sense,
but I'm sure I've seen videos of people crafting and using motors?

Basically all I want to know is how to move items from your Inventory (K) into your tool bar, if you press K you can see minerals, rocks and even some weapons & tools, I can get the weapons and tools by pressing (G) and dragging them into my tool bar from that screen.
But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to equip any item in my Inventory when I press K.
I cannot drag the item into my tool bar from the K screen or do anything with an item all I can do is look at it or drop it.

Please can someone explain what I'm missing or doing wrong :(

Because you cant simply place ores etc.

A motor is a component not a block. Basically in survival as you place blocks you have to weld them together with your welder. To do this each block takes a certain number and type of component and you need to craft them in an assembler. Once crafted you move them into you inventory and leave them there. Then you go to the block you were needing the components for and weld it. The items will automatically be added to the block and removed from your inventory. If you would like I would be willing to join a survival game with you and show you some basics. Just shoot me a message.
