Place it in sunlight so the black stuff is face-to-the-sun. It can generate o2 from the sunlight.
Then, connect it with conveyors to an oxygen tank. You can refill the bottles from that.
HOWEVER... its really slow at filling an oxygen tank, and you will want to build 2 or 3 to keep your astronaut alive.
damn Do.... Do.... Do... Double ninjad... ninjad..... ninjad.... xD
alrighty then,thanks guys
Just adding to this^
If you pipe your O2 farms to a med bay you can slowly refill your astronaut without bottles, just in case you die and loose your O2 bottles.
You should also be able to increase your antenna signal on large ships or stations to 50km.
Dude! I have been wondering why the med bay has a conveyor hook-up. Never thought to pipe O2 to it..... Thanks!
yup youre right, thanks, how do i set my antenna signal to 50km on my station?
Go into the Stations Control Pannel and find the antenna, in it's options there will be a slider, just slide it all the way to the right.
Beacons have a longer range than antenna's (Infinite at max I think) so if you go very far out it might be worth building one of those, they're a little redunant with antenna's (which do more) unless you go very far out but they don't take much power.
Ah no, never mind, I checked and their range is the same.
Don't bother with them then!
alright, cool :) thanks
