I recommend for an easy installation, use this pack & you'll be good to go!

--------Installation Instructions--------
Step 1. Go to your Space Engineers installation (steamapps\common\Space Engineers\Content) directory.

Step 2. Make a backup copy of your Content folder (steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content) directory.

Step 3. Open the Space Engineers Modpack v3.0.zip (if you don't know how, use 7z, Winzip or Winrar),
then drag & drop all folders into your (steamapps\common\Space Engineers\Content) directory. Choose yes if asked to replace any files.

Step 4. ....

Step 5. PROFIT!!!

------IMPORTANT------
If you have the last pack installed (with v1.0 Satellite Dish), go to your SE install at Steam\steamapps\common\Space Engineers\Content\MODS & delete the VoicesDark folder so it won't conflict with the texture/icon fix in this pack.

Not really, usually just the Cubeblocks.sbc will be changed in which case I'll continue to update the modpack so everything will always work. I speak from experience because I in fact have been using these mods for a few weeks now. So just be sure to always check back here periodically as I will be helping the modders keep this pack up to date with they're updates and the main game updates! We just want everyone to enjoy these great additions for all Engineers to enjoy. So have fun and let your creativity go above & beyond!

what happens to an existing save game using some of these if they are not updated? Does the save become unplayable? Sorry for the ignorance, but I've been playing mod-free until yesterday.

From what I've seen, your worlds will still work, just the mod blocks won't appear.

But I recommend just using my modpack to install them as I have made it much more simple to install for people who don't really understand how to properly install them.

For some reason my background sounds are now fading in and out. Not sure if it's a specific mod causing this or just something specific to me.

Anyone else getting this effect since installing this modpack? If so have you narrowed down the issue or found a work around?

Absolutely love the mobpack BTW; can't believe a lot of this isn't part of the game. Specially the assorted building blocks!

I get the same stutter sometimes, I believe its just the game having a tid bit of trouble keeping up with all the new content but it is still playable & I myself have gotten used to it. Plus it only seems to happen when looking towards really big builds, alot to render for the game engine. things will iron out as the game gets optimized.
