Reactors not putting out any power
So this seems like an easy fix but its driving me insane. I was using the station control panel when I accidently turned off all reactors (hit Y instead of T) so I hit Y again to turn everything back on to discover that my fuel time had dropped from 6 days to 5 hours. I go through my control panel to find that none of my reactors are putting out any power. I do not understand why, they are hooked up to the conveyer system, they have uranium in them, they were working before I accidently hit Y, so why did they stop!?!?

Did you mess with your computers clock or anything that may have altered the games worlds sense of time.

Yes but I changed it back before all this happened. I look at the control panel and it says the reactors are putting out 0W, so I do not believe it to be a timing issue

Strange have you tried altering the game world to creative mode and then going around replacing the reactors maybe there is an error in the connection between the reactors and the connecting conveyor block.

I have not tried going to creative, but I have tried destroying and replacing one of the reactors, still not putting out any power, now my connector doesn't work, probably due to a lack of power, however everything else on the station seems to be working

Jumping into creative mode should bring more light to what is wrong. And saves you from wasting tons of resources trying to find out why the reactors are malfunctioning.

Odd, I set my batteries to recharge and now the reactors are putting out power. This is really strange, can the batteries not power the station alongside the reactors?

Not sure i use Mod Reactors XPAR to be exact i think vanila are to small for fusion reactor, thats about the size of a hyrdogen fusion reactor that given supervision even a science inclined child can make i seen one but they cant put out much power and only able to fuse two atoms at a time. There was an article on a child who did it for a science class project he was sponsored of course not cheap to make but still impresive the kid could learn to do it.

You have batteries.
Turn your batteries back to recharge.
The order power is drawn from systems is
#1 Solars,
#2 batteries,
#3 Reactors.

So the free sun power is used first, the stored sun/reactor power is used second, and then the limited supply uranium is used last.
In practice batteries are awful though. Largly pointless. You can do away with them entirely and it shouldnt impact performance. it would probably improve it thanks to batteries 20% storage inefficiance problem X.x

Batteries are only really useful with the sun rotation on(if you don't want to put solar panels in every single direction on a station) or as a backup power source, i.e. you run out of uranium by accident, you have batteries around to power stuff enough to refine enough uranium.

Same with fuel cell if your using a mod with it only designed to keep the air going really really long time.

If the reactor has Uranium and is outputting 0W, then it may not be turned on. Y will turn everything off, but it may not turn everything back on. You may have to select the reactors in the Control Panel individually and turn them on.

What Loues.S.Cat said. but to make it even clearer

The reason it is showing 5 hours instead of 6 days is becouse your batteries and solar power is now being used. So you have 5 hours of power on battery and solar power.

Your reactors are not outputing anypower becouse your station is not demanding enough power for them to be running alongside your batteries/solar.

Once your batteries run out, your reactors will power up as long as your station is demanding more power then your solar can provide.

Interesting i did not know the game prioritized it that way i mainly use Batteries. Capacitors, and Fuel Cells to make the reactor room look cooler.
