How do you use the symmetry mode?
I've been playing a long ass time but never have I learned how to use symmetry mode, how do you use it?

M causes the planes to be displayed; use the same button to cycle through.

N disables the whole mode.

Aim the block then press M to cycle symmetry mode. click left button to choose. after that, hit N to turn on/off symmetry mode.

Don't forget that right click will remove a symetry plane.

sry for necroing this, but there really should be a hint that the symmetry mode only works in creative mode.

I'm playing survival and was looking for 10 minutes now on different posts and nobody mentioned this. Hope this will help the next one looking for a solution.

Thank you for that! Saved me further searching :) Shame it doesn't work in survival mode though. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.

2015 discussion is a bit too old and the Devs have asked the community to add all ideas on the new Vote Portal where all can vote to push the proirity on the idea.
