Weird Handdrill-Bug? Can only get stone, but no ores

Hello,

tried this game with this new planet update and landed nearly perfect at a frozen sea. The sea got 4 darker areas, where different kinds of ore are hidden inside.

Now im in one of this dark areas and mining for uran, scanner at the surface telling me, its only 30 meter away. So i mined to this area and i see the uranium layer, but when i try to mine it, i get only some big chunks of stone at the borderlayer, but no uran ore. If i mine direct into the uran layer, no stone chunks, but no uran ore chunks too.

Tried then to mine the ice, but no ice, same for silicon, cobalt and silver.

What the hell is wrong with my handdrill? Its only giving stone, but no more.

Playing only in vanilla, no mods active and game cache is verifizied too. Ah, and yeah, i drill with left mouseclick.

Some planets spawn a bit bugged, this happens, or a CTD when mining things that are not stone..

Simply follow instructions in bugs and reports subsection of the forums.

if all you get is stone and more stone. I recomind two mods.
1. Stone Crusher
2. Industreal cetrifuge
#1 takes stone and breaks it down into all parts of ors and gravel
#2 takes gravel and does the same leaving no stone or gravel
I didnt use mods for the longest time and i have found that with as many bugs as we have now you need them just to play and survive

Could fix it, saved the world, started a new one, tried to drill some ice, now it worked, reloaded old save and it worked there too, cool. Was maybe the freeze during a drill-session which caused the drill breakdown.

But will try your suggested mods too, have now some thousand tons of stones, which want to be part of my constructions.

I Pressed G and re-equipped the tool and it seemed to work.
