How do I fill a hydrogen tank?

I have filled hydrogen bottles inside a hydrogen tank, but it seems to do nothing.

Oxygen generator + ice + hydrogen tank = filled hydrogen tank.

You can't fill a hydrogen tank with bottles, it's the other way around.

How do I connect an oxygen generator to a hydrogen tank, or move hydrogen from an oxygen generator?

Both oxygen generator and hydrogen tanks have ports for conveyors.

Just connect them using conveyor tubes.

Once they're connected, Hydrogen will flow automatically from the generator to the tank.

you can also fill an empty hydrogen tank from another hydrogen tank that could be a base or another ship, using connectors.

I have tanks connected using conveyors, and they will fill by the generators, but I can't figure out how to transfer O or H2 tanks using your method. Would be great to be able to fill up a small docked ship. Any suggestions?

I'd like the answer to this as well please, I have an H thruster ship and my tanks are almost empty... but the ones in my station base are full... they're not transferring and the ship is connected to the station.

Not working for me either :.( The hydrogen thrusters work, I can fill the oxygen generator with ice and it pulls hydrogen from there. However, I'd also like to be able to disconnect it from the generator and transport hydrogen. Possibly have some small tank versions for small ships ;)

Easiest way i have found is to have the tank you wish to fill set to stockpile and the other tank to transfer from not.

as long as the pipeline is complete and reaches the tanks on the ship to transfer to it should work.

@LEGOlasvegas there's a small hydrogen tank for smal ships, it looks like a fire extinguiser in real life and it has 10k L capacity. So yeah the best way I've found so far si to build a line of tubes to a frozen lake, build a miner who's only purpose is to lower the drill and mine (40k ice pero drilling) and then get back and refill the generators.

Even if you waste more power is better to just divide equally so all generators are producing oxygend and hydrogen, and of course as our friend here state, choose them all and turn stockpile OFF and the ones you wanna fill stockpile ON.
