Anyone buy this from the UBI store?

It's on sale in the Ubisoft shop, curious if I'd have to use Uplay as well as Steam.

EDIT: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rediculous. I ask if buying Space Engineers through Ubisoft's Uplay Store would force me to use Uplay; And this toxic community assumes me to be an idiot, I get called a troll, people suggest it's a scam...

Don't know about Uplay and Steam, but when I play Assassin's Creed, brought from steam, I have to login to both.

I am 90% sure they are just going to send you a Steam key and you wont have to use the ubilauncher at all. That's not a good price though, it's only 30% off. The game was like 40 or 50% off on Steam a couple weeks ago, and in like 12 days it's probably going to be on sale again for the same or better discount.

Also your link only works for people in Canada. If you try to visit a link for a different region the ubistore redirects you to the home page. I wouldn't call people trolls for not finding what you are talking about based on a broken link.

They do, just not in your region apparently. I see it being sold in the ubistore in the US, OP is from Canada.

it takes me to the frontpage, I did notice that it said that it took me to my countries store, so maybe it's only in your country that you can buy it from there?

And the reactions here are because of a long line of trolls coming here day in and day out, there are people who want to help but are still a bit careful so they don't come in a flamewar or just a stupid thread and wasting their time.

The community is really good, and the forums are still a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ better than any other forum on steam, don't write off the community based on one thread.

Now now, don't be a ♥♥♥♥ yourself by saying people can't read. When you go to a public forum there might be people who will wander in while they have nothing to do there, like me initialy because I like helping people.

But I think it's a very small percentage who actualy bought it from the Ubisoft store, the game was way cheaper in Early Access, and there was a big sale not long ago on steam, a sale much more than what you were referring to.

is simple, when you said Ubisoft it sounded instantly weird, because this game is not published by them. So, yes I had to do a search, the game is actually in their store.
Since the game uses Steam Workshop and using a little common sense, you can guess they sell a Steam key and you dont gonna need Ubiplay, also because they didnt make the game, and more IMPORTANT, it clearly says in the site that "THIS GAME IS ACTIVATED THROUGH STEAM" so yes you freaking Toxic pedant son of a gun, READ!!!
