Can only move certain things through conveyor
Ok, I have a large cargo container with components in it. It has a large conveyor leading to a connector that I use to dock my welding ships.

The ship uses a large connector with large conveyor tubes connected to the large port on the cargo bays.

I can move Construction Components and other various things into the ship, but many things wont. Cant move metal grids, interior plates, etc etc.

If anyone can help with this I would be most grateful.

After you moved "various things" into your ship, was there enough space left for "many things"?
Each container has a limit, what it can hold.

Yes, there was tons and tons of room.

And you are SURE that they are large coneyors, not small ones?

I am 110% sure.

Large conveyors are large, whereas small tubes are kind of small. :P

By can't move, what exactly do you mean?
You drag the item into your ship but it remain in same container?
Or is the target greyed out as soon you try to drag the item?

Greyed out.

I just placed conveyor blocks behind the cargo containers on the ship and now it works.

I was having a problem with this earlier. I had hooked up the tiny port hole to the connector instead of the large port. hooking it up correctly fixed that problem.
I also noticed that some of the larger components can't move through some systems. I'm still not sure what was going on, but I made 1 large cargo hold instead of 2 small ones on my station and streamlined the conveyor straight to the connector I needed and it's all good now.
TL:DR; watch for bottlenecks.
