Is there some way to boost your fps? Or increase performance?

Game is running bad on my pc, even on the lowest settings. Getting around 40 fps but drops really fast to 20 when doing stuff in the game.
PC specs:
i5 3570k 3.4GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia geforce gtx 660ti 4gb
Directx 11

Are you on the solar system map? that brings my system to its knees lol But on the single habbitable planet map it runs fine on medium settinga :)

BTW the max i get on star system is about 5-10 FPS even though i have got a gaming computer

I run solar system, or at least flying between the easy start worlds, acceptable 40-90 FPS with my system:

You guys seem to misunderstand what i'm trying to say... I said if there is a way to BOOST or increace performance... I didn't ask for your system specs and how much you guys ran on i simply asked if there is a way to fix that

No point tring to fight it, peeps got to flex their "E-Peen" when possible, where possible.

as for increasing performance, there really is not a whole lot you can do beyond the general PC maintence steps you see plastered all over the place.

There is a guide in steam, under tweaks, I dont remember the exact name, will look it up and edit this post with a link....I followed his guide and it did help me gain about 5~10fps in the game.

reduce your view settings to 5km which is the lowest there is, its in the make a game/edit game settings not in graphics. It helped me

reduce the FOV to lower than 60 if u can bear with it, window it and lower the resolution? it might increase some try some tweaks and mods from the workshop, Theres this mod that reduces flora amounts and all, I second the reduce the view settings it does help.

lol i get 120+ fps on my system.... but it stutters alot, mostly dealing with big ships even on low
system specs:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600

Ram: Corsair vengence 32gb 3600Mhz Rgb

Gpu: gigabyte Aorus Rtx 2060 super
