Settings, i think ther is also a way to set the resolution from the steam screen, in properties--> "launch settings".

Also, check the "settings.ini" in the game files.

BUT FIRST, try using ALT + ENTER in game.

In Windows, hold down the Windows key and press R to open the run box. (Windows key is the one with the windows logo on it)

Type in %APPDATA% including the % symbols. This will open the file browser to the hidden appdata folder.

Scroll down to Space Engineers, open the SpaceEngineers.cfg file in Notepad.

Look at the lines with the following info in it. (They are the 12th and 13th items down)
"<item>
<Key xsi:type="xsd:string">ScreenWidth</Key>
<Value xsi:type="xsd:string">1920</Value>
</item>
<item>
<Key xsi:type="xsd:string">ScreenHeight</Key>
<Value xsi:type="xsd:string">1080</Value>
</item>"

These should match your screen resolution your monitors are set to in Windows.

If they do not, then close the file first, make a backup somewhere (ie copy it to your desktop) then re--open it. Edit the values to your monitor resolution.

Directly under it there should also be an item for WindowMode. If this is set to 1 then set it to 0. Save the file, overwrite it, then close it. See if that fixes it.

This did not work i think it may not be resolution because it does not appear streched out and when i open it where there uis no space engineers i can see wat ever window is open

Hmm ok, when you say you only see 1/3 of the screen is the rest blank? Or is it off the side of the screen where you cannot see it?

If it is blank try reinstalling your graphics driver. If it is off to the side of the screen, do you have another monitor or TV plugged into the PC and set to span between them? Should not make a difference and would be an odd problem to have happen but it is something else to test by unplugging it and resetting windows to use just one monitor then try again.
