How to setup a recharge station?
Hey, another noob question!

I am playing survival and need to charge my ships. I have built a connector to my station and my mini ship but they don't seem to be charging. I'm wondering how to make an individual recharge station? Ive seen images of them having an antenna, battery, and a solar panel

The connectors have to be green (connected) for power to transfer. I think there's also a way to use rotors to connect to a station, but I haven't tried it myself and rotors are unreliable.

You should also check your battery setting, you may have to manually set it to "recharge" once you're connected.

You have docked on the connector? Have you set the ships batteries to load?

Have you docked your ship to the station?
Afaik the connector turn yellow, if there is another connector close enough. They turn green if docked.
While docked, you wont be able to fly or rotate.

If you are docked and your ship battery doesnt charge, try to set it to charge in menu.

When I attempt to charge my ship I connect the connectors but the color was yellow, maybe I need to set the load option.

Batteries on default mode aren't supposed to charge either, sometimes they bug out and do which is terrible. What you want to do is dock to your main base and set your base battery to discharge, do not set the battery on your ship to charge as your ship will lose power and disconnect from the base, unless you have some other on board power source.

Edit: You have to press P after the connector turns yellow to lock the connection. Yellow just means it's ready to connect.

Go to menu and click on dock (or connect).
You can put your connector in hotbar with the same action too for easy access.

Yellow mean's connector detected, green means locked.

The function is Lock. Put the connector on your hotbar with the toggle Lock function. The connector must be powered on and when close enough to dock will say "Ready". If you ship is a wheeled vehicle it may be too high or low to connect. You might have to adjust your wheel offset. I have to.
