No Traction in Wheeled Vehicles

After starting the easy start Earth-like world and making the 6 wheeled crawler truck, I really would like for keen to give it a Limited-slip Differential or a Differential lock. We need 4X4 mode, if you get even 1 of the cargo containers full you just sit there spinning wheels to get going on flat ground. Forget about going up slopes.

The main Heavy Armor ramp is too steep for it as well.

Change the settings on the wheels.

Increase the friction of the wheels. if they still spin reduce the power. Turning the wheels can get things going too.

The friction and power settings don't help much for large heavy vehicles. On max friction they slide around grass hills like a figure skater on ice. I think my massive wheeled mining tower did a few pirouettes in my attempts to get it somewhere to mine, including a double.

Reduce the power. If you cannot move(not slipping) with reduced power you need more wheels delivering power.

key trick i found is power low, suspection strong and friction/dampning high ive had vehicles 150-200k+ weight with very little slide keep in mind each vehicle weight needs diffrant settings so you constantly have to tweek

I was sliding and gliding down hills with the wheels motionless and the parking brake on. Not even sure how or where to add more wheels, and I feel like that would just increase the number of tires I needed to constantly replace.

I don't even remember the weight, it was a "large ship" so it was up there, I abandoned it in the woods somewhere earlier today. It never actually made it to an ore deposit to start mining.

have you tried simply placing an extra wheel onto the wheel. not the whole suspension but just another wheel.

like this ==[][] ... i suppose its a dually lol.
