Can you filp something when you copy it?
I know you can use mirror mode when building something but i forgot about it till i was with one half, i want to copy that half but i need to flip it because they're supposed to be mirrored.

use the same keys you rotate a regular block with. Easiest way to do it is make the part, copy it, then delete the first and paste it back into the world. Wherever your crosshair is at when you copy or delete is that part's mounting point

This wont actually flip it, this will rotate it. its like in tetris how there are two different L shaped blocks but you cant rotate one to look like the other.

No, you can't mirror it by copy and paste, but there is a user made tool called SEToolbox that can mirror ships based on where you define their symmetry planes in game.
