Maybe start a new game as a test to see if they appear?
= Best to report to the Mod author if you have problems.
Telling you this because there are no "Solar system" world in this game but we have one named "Star System".

Just share your save here, I will load to help you find the cause.
How to save a world in your Workshop :
1 - Select your save.
2 - Click the "Publish" button on the left.
3 - Choose a proper Tag, check Steam upload and click the OK button.
4 - Your world will be uploaded to Steam Workshop.
5 - Paste the Workshop item link here.
1 - Hit Alt+F10 to open the Admin menu.
2 - Select "Entity list" in drop down arrow on top.
3 - Select planets to see all planets and moons in the world.
star System spawns everything lol
-> Looks like you don't have SE game for PC on Steam
EDIT
"home solar system" may come from Playstation or Xbox and those are limited to no more than 3 different planets per world.
its a possibility, But Home system is a cross play world. with just mars, earth and moon.
Star system is the one with all planets of course. If he has the the Microsoft store version on PC, that's all he'll be able to play on. as it uses the consoles format of the game.
had to gift SE to someone who had it on the Microsoft store cause their MStore version wouldn't allow them to connect to our server at the time. gave them the steam version and boom, they got access to star system and the server.
so that could be it too.
I don't have Xbox and Playstation but I know consoles are limited to no more than 3 different planets in a world and why the SE Dedic server can be set on compatibility mode to create limited worlds so console users can join.
They can add more than 3 planet but must be the same as the ones already in the world, no more than 3 different.
Ok so it would be good in the description of these scenarios to let users know that they are limited to 3 planets. Our "home system" contains 8.
I will how ever check out "star System" thanks Ruizbros
Nothing on Xbox called " Star System" there is a scenario on pc called this
would the equivalent be "Distant Worlds"?
going to check this out right now. "Distant Worlds" [XBOX] Only has Alien and Pertem spawned in.
Looks like you have the limited version for console users, Microsoft Store, Xbox and Playstation are limited to no more 3 different planet per world.
You seem new on the Steam SE Froums and don't know me so I must specifiy :
-> I am not a SE Dev but forum Moderator community helper/game tester and I help the SE community since 2013 because it's my Favorite Sandbox game on Steam, and they gave me the [Dev] Tag so I can be admin of the Workshop to help more.
The limited version can't connect to Steam Workshop, only the one we can buy on Steam can access the SE Workshop.
EDIT
Steam version premade worlds, we have =
-> Asteroids only words.
-> Only one planet worlds.
-> 6 Planets worlds.
+
-> 8 Planets world is the biggest :
