Entering server browser "crashes" my internet connection
TL;DR
Opening server browser in game leads to my overall internet connection straight up crashing + the browser won't load more than 150-200ish servers all together.

Every time I try and browse the servers for the game, my internet connection legit just crashes, somehow. Like, I try to open up Chrome / Firefox whichever browser and it just won't open any site while the browser is loading in servers.

It also only loads about 200-ish servers consistently, no more (even though there are plenty more).

For reference:

My Wi-Fi is about 50MBit on the worst days, 100+ on good days (upload)

packetlosstest.com says I have no missing packets.

There are 0 filters set to the browser so it should load everything it can.

Setting the Automated Pings whatever setting in steam from Default 5000 to for example 500 or even lower, doesn't fix the internet crashing it only slows down the overall loading of the servers in the list.

Crucial thing I should mention is that my NAT is Strict. I googled a hell of a lot to see how to fix this without going through my service provider since in my country it's kind of bollocks to go through all that, a lot of hassle (and the router isn't mine it's from my parents).

Anyone had any issues with this and found something that could be a fix?

Hi, some using VPN said they had to disable to play MP,
+
Also some not able to play MP shared their solutions that I have added to the Pin in Troubleshooting sub forum, one may help !?

MP - Not able to connect to servers :
Some members were not able to join MP worlds and here is what they did to fix :

1 - The problem was caused by router MTU being set to 1400 to my ISP gateway. Changing the MTU to 1500 fixed the problem.
MTU = Maximum Transmission Unit

2 - Turn off ASUS' ROG GameFirst, that app got reported preventing members to play MP.

3 - Also one member was stuck in space and could not see the respawn screen, he switched to Wifi to fix.
(switch to direct wire connected to home router if you already use Wifi)

NOTE
One player reported that "CloudFlare WARP" and "Network optimizers" can give problems on servers, like can't see HUD.

NEW about Crash to desktop on server :

We are finding that some players loading into areas with a large amount of blocks or voxel deformation are getting CTD. To get around this, they need to turn down their graphics to minimum until they have loaded in. After this they can safely turn them back up.

MP CONNECTION PROBLEM

A lot are not able to play MP these days (me too) and the only solution that helped so far was to change the Steam Download Region.

How to change Download Region :
1 - Open your Steam app.
2 - Click on "Steam" link/button in top left corner of your Steam app. and click Settings.
3 - A small Window will open for you to select "Download" on the left list and try other Region from the first option on top of the right side options (first on top).
+
Try the closest region to your home first but some said they tried a lot of different regions before finding a working one.

Ahh a router behind a modem which might also have NAT. I think you should start with a basic setup unless you are a network engineer.

Modem to computer and join MP. MTU very unlikely.

run a constant ping meanwhile. Ping the router ip also at the same time with -t.

Ping 142.250.74.4 -t (google.com)
