Cargo Access Question
I am having some hair pulling frustration trying to transfer cargo from a ship to a station in the "Learning to Survive" world.

I have tried many many combinations of connectors, cargo containers, conveyors, conveyor connectors, etc, etc. I can 'see' all the cargo containers connected but can not add to, remove from, or transfer between any of them other than my suit inventory and the container I originally click on.

I simplified it to:

nothing but a cockpit and one small cargo container attached to the rear port of the cockpit

I put 1 stone in each container and can see them both with "I" and "K" but can't access both from one container.

I have no idea if "experimental mode" might have any effect but that is not an option in the settings menu.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

That is absolutely my problem with the simplified test build I created. Duh me !

I will have to go back and try again with a more complicated setup.

Just to verify: I should be able to move cargo between any containers I can see so long as I have the correct components in the system; correct?

Thanks a lot.

Hi, best to empty the connected ship with Sorter set on "Dain all" especially to emtpy the blocks that keep their inventory by default.

Basic setup to transfer ship inventory to Station Container in one second :

1 - Sorter placed on the container port you want your "Stuff" to go in.

2 - Add the "Stuff" in sorter "Whitelist" and enable "Drain ALL".

= That will empty your connected ship in one second :

Make sure all blocks are set to "ME" so you are the owner.

Oh! I forgot to specify

-> A Sorter creates a "One Way" so you will have to engineer a solution for this "problem". I usually create 2 conveyor lines so one for the "IN" and one for the "OUT".

Thanks a lot folks. I should be able to sort it out now and appreciate the help.
One detail that tripped me up for the longest time: small sorters will pass gas, a whitelist-nothing sorter will pass nothing *but* gas. All other sorters block gases.
