High energy consumption with all units turned off
I have a small vehicle, with all blocks turned off, except for the 1 solar panel and small batteries, the vehicle consumes 3 kW of energy. What gets as much as everything is turned off? No, I'm not sitting in the cockpit

Access a control panel and start going through the list of stuff on your grid, everything that consumes power has a info section that displays power consumption on the bottom right I believe of that screen.

Wheels them selves use power when not in use. If its a rover your in

There's a few things that consume power, that *can't* be turned off. The conveyor system requires power to function, and the only way to shut it off is to basically kill ALL power on the grid. Every last tube, conveyor hatch, AND all the possible usable faces on conveyor junctions, use power.
If you've got any wheels or thrusters, they will draw a little power unless completely shut off.
Tanks use a little power, as do air vents.

Quite hard to tell without you, know know, posting blueprint to check or at least show the grid.

Also, is antenna on?

A single small grid solar panel is only useful for a small trickle charge, it's barely anything.
Don't get me wrong, it is useful but it's not going to power a rover for very long. It's mostly useful if you run out of power somewhere and it makes a nice backup to charge the batteries.

Anyway, I assume your parked if your trying to charge. Parking uses quite a bit of power when engaged. Also there is you. When in a cockpit/seat your character draws power from the grid if any is available. If you have your lights on or are in a cold/low O2 area then the draw is higher.

But as previously stated, without a blueprint so we can go in and check the systems, it can be hard to definitively say what that the problem is.
