How are you supposed to use wheel suspensions?

I'm trying out some 1x1 wheels on a small ship, but the wheels seem way too small for the suspension they're attached to. The suspension piece is dragging on the ground and is preventing the vehicle from moving. I am testing it on a planet, btw. What am I doing wrong?

I think the 1x1 wheels are more for using on tracks. I use a set for my small grid projector setup. Not found a use for them otherwise however. Make sure you adjust the height offset correctly.

1x1 you need to adjust the settings so that the wheel is at the very bottom of the suspension.
