Ummm, we need rly so dirty windows, now?! Oo
In the past, before Marek talked in the stream about changes for the windows-texture..., we had rly good windows... it was fun and relaxing watching into space... (i had not rly the feeling, hey there is no window(-texture) at all.... Oo) But i understand the changes... (btw why is a window now complete white fromt the other side? - cant watch trough anymore. - maybe standard with detail on low now? - or bugt currently?)

But what i dont understand is, why must a window so dirty now?! This looks rly not good anymore. Oo (same with the cockpit in the past... - you build a new ship and it looks old before the first flight was done... wtf)

Well... we are in an unusually populated asteroid field. Could be all kinds of dust particles and micrometeorites floating about... that's how I remember coping with the arcing electricity.
But I'm not really sure if this is what Marek wanted...? He said "scratches" on the stream, but I suppose I wouldn't know.

Lol Windows need to be washed. Anybody got a bucket and sponge?

Hey wouldn't that be a nice thing to have to do in game? Drive/fly around oh darn Windows need washing. Where did I see that car wash again?

Edit: I didn't have this issue before but now I do since last update. I do agree. It's bit dopy not being able to see out the windows. I've found that it's impossible to see out the windows when it is dark. Hopefully this gets fixed very soon. Miss watching the stars outside the cockpit at night time.

Well when we drive our ships we see particles flowing past our eyes. Maybe this is spacedust? This could explain the dirty windows. I like the dirty thing but i would like it if they had clean windows in space and dirtier windows on the planets.

this is actually highly unrealistic, such debris would tear a ship apart, they added it to help y'all get a sense of what direction you are accelerating in, which is like, the furthest thing down on the chain they could have done to aid in such.

They look fabulous if you delete the alpha channel reference in the TransparentMaterials.sbc under the "GlassCW" and "GlassCCW". I wish they had proper texture pack support, I have to keep our dedicated server stocked with graphics tweaks, such as the pixelated "glare" textures and such.

can anyone honestly say that they ever ran intro a windolw becuase they dint realise it was a window??

now they are not windows becuase you cant see throguh them from either side unless you have your lights on, last time i checked windows should be transparent not translucent.

it is just a decal so its easie to undo / change im just hoping that they realise they need to change it.. i can feel an email brewing..

Well I went back into a survival world with my asteroid cracker, I couldn't see anything out of my large, panoramic, glass bridge.

Also anyone concerned by the fact that apparently Marek can't tell the difference between a window and empty space in his own game?

I haven't washed my windows in 10 years and I can see fine through them, even with screens on. Why is the game so much dirtier than real life?
